My Mother’s Photo Album

While attempting to de-stash, I found a small photo album that belonged to my mother.

So I posed the question to family and friends: who the heck are these people? They all appear to be friends of my mother’s during her youth. Each photo is small, like the kind you got from a photo booth.

These were probably taken during  the 1930s.

How I wish these were in color!

These folks lived through the depression.

Anyone interested in Lenoir City, Loudon County, Tennessee?

Could they be passport or some kind of ID photos?

These folks generally didn’t go far, but some of them DO resemble passport-style photos. I thought they were school photos, maybe at a carnival for a fundraiser.

So glad you put all of the album pictures on your blog. I just knew I’d find Ray Shubert and Bebe Mills in the bunch ~ but he’s not there, and I don’t think she is either.

Second picture down is cousin Vivian, from Grandma Packett’s side, I think. Looks like her kind eyes to me!

No. 25 down, or two down from the girl with braids, is Aunt Etta, I believe.
