A Tree Goes Topless

Today it looked like the storm would slide north of here.

It. Did. Not.

Oops!

The super-zoom vision on the dandy new Canon camera shows where one fork of the two-tined top of the tree used to live.

The tree in the middle of the photo is the one missing part of itself.

It smells like turpentine around here.

At least it wasn’t the family tree. Think of all the toothpicks you’ll get once you’re done whittling. What Canon model?

Leo, it’s a PowerShot A3300 IS digital camera. It is the stuff. The last camera I was using was some sort of HP model with 5 mega pixels. The new one has *16* mega pixels. As my mother would say, “I feel like I’ve died and gone to heaven.”
