Election Day, November 2, 2010

Here in SC, we had some Amendments on the ballot.  The poll workers were handing out these flyers to explain the amendments and how to interpret them.  There was plenty of time to study the form because the line was incredibly long.  There was a heavy voter turnout, and most were in a good mood with the line moving along fairly quickly.  I find it curious in my little town that my voting place is in a church.  The voting booths are in the reception hall, but the line spilled over into the sanctuary, all the way to the other end.  When I lived in another state, we voted at the schools.  Different strokes.
